    Sri Lanka has a prominent name for its identical handmade Batik creations because they are identical and unique depicting cultural & traditional movements’, events, sceneries, wildlife etc… . However today Sri Lankan batiks are world famous and have great values and demands internationally due to its unique identical creativeness, color combinations and the quality of products.

    Our Sri Lankan batik creations are 100% handmade using pure cotton clothes. All the images and designs are manually drawn by talented artists and then the entire process is teamwork of skilled artists.  It is a tiring work first, an artist creates an image on his inspiration. He decides the suitable colors and then starts by applying light color and finish with most dark colors. Paraffin & beeswax do a major part to protect each layer of colors. Should apply wax on the surface where the color should be protected. After applying each color the cloth must be dried and then wax should be applied to protect the required color.  At the end, the item is boiled in hot water to remove the wax layers. Finally, the long time process finishes by creating an attractive batik product. It can be a shirt, skirt, wall hanging, beach wear, saree, or whatever the process is the same. Batiks are manually done and have no similarity to each other.

    The short sleeve of men’s shirts are designed on 100% pure cotton and our artists manually finish the entire process. It can be washed in the washing machine, colors will not be discolored.
