Ceylon tea is the brand of tea that is produced in Sri Lanka. Ceylon tea has been described as not only a geographical indication but also a pillar of Sri Lankan culture, heritage, and identity. The Sri Lanka Tea Board is the legal proprietor of the Lion Logo of Ceylon tea. In 2019, Sri Lanka was the fourth largest tea producer and the third largest tea exporter in the world. The Lion Logo has been registered in 98 countries as of 2016. Ceylon tea increasingly has to face competition for the rising production costs. The main reasons for increasing the cost of production are increasing labour wages, an increase in fuel prices and an increase in utility costs.
Altitude, humidity, breeze (dryness or wetness in the wind), rainfalls, soil formation, and moisture percentage in the air are the main factors to have flavour & aroma of Ceylon Tea

100% Pure High Grown Ceylon Loose Black Tea (Medium Flavor)-200g pack
Rated 0 out of 5$12.00Tea from Uva is exotic. It is the climate that makes Uva tea highly prized. The mountainous terrain is exposed to both monsoon seasons; the annual northeast and the southwest monsoon. But when the winds reach these climes and howl around their high towers, they blow bereft of moisture – a spent force that has discharged its water content in the hills below. The dryness gives Uva tea a special concentrated aroma and a distinctly exotic flavour. This pack contains black loose tea leaves that come from the Ella Halpewatta plantation. Try it, you will love its flavor and aroma.  -
