We use 100% matured natural seasoned reeds for all our reed items (pan/rush). All the products are ecofriendly durable and reusable, the mats are in identical length and can be used for outdoor or indoor activities to sit or sleep laying it on the floor. It would be ideal for outdoor parties such as beach, garden or camping as well.

    Sri Lanka has a prominent name for its identical handmade reed products. The useful handmade products that we make using seasoned rush & reeds are durable and resistant to insect attacks.

    Reed plants generally grow in marshlands in the wet zone of the island; almost every house is well equipped with reed items in old days. The reed items serve in many domestic aspects in houses like mats to sleep and lay on the floor during many festive & ceremonial activities, boxes to store and carry foods, platters to display and offer food during festivals , hand bags to carry foods and other stuffs. All the items made out of reeds & rush are reusable durable and eco-friendly  with no harmful impact to the environment at all .
